A rare Edwardian oak cased 'Pork Pie' station masters wall clock with oak case by Kays of Paris c.1910. The turned oak case with domed rim giving the appearance of a pork pie. Enamelled dial inset to the centre with the makers name 'Kay's Limited Paris', Roman numerals and blued steel hands; bevelled edge glass mounted in a polished brass bezel sat over the top. The 8 day movement with platform escapement and railway serial number 2893 to the rear. Brass dust cover to the back with recessed fittings to aid hanging. Kay's supplied clocks to various companie...s across the UK, including mantle pieces and wall clocks. A rare and collectable item in superb original condition, fully serviced and working. Measures 6.25" diameter overall with a 3.75" dial diameter x 2.5" deep. Stock number 41234.
