Rare Liberty Moorcroft Pomegranate on Green Pedestal Vase
A superb early Moorcroft pomegranate pedestal vase with rare green ground made for Liberty and signed William Moorcroft to the base c.1912. Superbly potted with pedestal foot and wide flare rim body forming the vase above. The body of the vase decorated with a continuous band of tube lined pomegranates with open fruits set against a background of leaves and berries. Soft green background with the fruits in soft reds with ochre leaves and red and purple berries. Signed in full by William Moorcroft to the base and marked 'Made for Liberty & Co'. Presented in immaculate perfect unrestored ...condition.
