A rare mid Victorian Staffordshire pottery egg dish with sitting hen cover C.1870. White porcelain basket work design base with a well detailed sitting hen design cover. Hand painted coloured decoration and gilt work detailed relief. Immaculate condition with no chips, damage or repairs. Measures 9.5" wide x 6.5" deep x 8" high. Stock number 35159.
