A rare and unusual George II low proportioned oak and elm drop leaf cricket table in original unaltered condition c.1740. Circular figured elm top with the three sides dropping to form a triangular table, the top revolving on the base to support the table leaves. Triangular formed base with turned legs set to the three corners, each with original bun foot and supported by a top rail and base stretcher; pegged joints throughout. Presented in untouched original condition with a wonderful rich colour and original patina, a most unusual and rare item.
