A rare and very collectable Edwardian solid silver William Shakespeares desk stamp box, hallmarked Birmingham 1909. Sloping hinged top forming the lid with wòod grain effect decoration and scribed numerals and letters; matching wood grained decoration to the front and sides. The hinged lid opening to reveal a two section interior with sloping surface to hold the stamps. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths Levi & Salaman along with clear hallmarks to all sections. Superbly detailed throughout and presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine.
