A rare Victorian solid ash novelty 'Bulldog' tea caddy with cast spelter bulldog to the front and original fitted interior c.1900. Fashioned in the form of a dog kennel with pitched overlapping roof forming the lid. Polished figured ash sides with lock escutcheon to the right hand side and plinth foot to the base. Cast spelter bulldog protruding from the front out of a circular aperture. The hinged lid opening to reveal an original foil lined interior with lid.
