A Rare Victorian Watkins patent aneroid desk top marine barometer.c.1880. Silvered engraved dial with pressure readings in inches and millibars. Rotating altimeter to the surround. 'Watkins' patent number to the dial,no.274, maker's name, J. Hicks of Hatton Gardens, London. Polished steel case with brass feet and hook for wall mounting. Full working order. Measures 4.5" diameter x 6.25"high including brass hook x 2.5"deep. Stock no.35516
