Rare Yellow Top Orchid Vase
A Moorcroft wide neck vase with rare yellow top, signed William Moorcroft c.1930. The vase with wide neck and slightly flared rim giving it the appearance of a small jardinere. The sides of the vase decorated with a continuous band of tube lined slipper orchids painted in tones of reds, peaches and dark blues. The background painted in dark blue at the base and the with top half in rare sunburst yellow. Complementing dark blue interior and signed William Moorcroft to the base along with Moorcroft factory impressions indicating a date of manufacture c.1930. Presented in perfect unrestored co...ndition.
