A superb quality Regency period figured mahogany desk arm chair with reeded decoration to the frame and leather seat c.1825. Superbly made in best quality mahogany with reeded moulding to the arms, moulded twin panel back rest with kingwood panel above a matching shallower rail. Moulded base rail to the hide seat with turned legs to the front and splayed legs to the rear supported by a cross stretcher. Superb quality and condition with no breaks or repairs, very sturdy and useable. Measures 20.5" wide x 23.5" deep x 35" high to top of chair back x 18.5" seat height.... Stock number 43291.
