Regency Rosewood Book Carrier

A fine quality Regency rosewood book carrier with fretted divisions in superb original condition c.1830. Rosewood veneered platform to the base with moulded edge and small pad feet to the underside. Solid rosewood fretwork sides and matching division to the centre with carrying handle set to the top. The carrier can hold 5.5" deep books in both sides, as illustrated. Presented in excellent original condition with no damage or repairs along with a rich colour and patina.
