A late Victorian solid silver propelling pencil by Sampson Mordan c.1900. Slender octagonal form with flared top inset with faceted Citrine to the end. Propelling end with slider inset to the side to allow the pencil end to be adjusted. Marked Sampson Mordan to the side, no hallmark but tested as silver. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 3.5" long closed 4.5" long open x 0.30" diameter. Stock number 36694.
