An Edwardian period solid silver 'Capstan's wheel' bridge marker by collected maker Sampson Mordan, hallmarked Birmingham 1908. Weighted flared base with revolving top in the form of a capstan's wheel. Bone scale behind viewed through a small window indicating the playing card symbols or 'no trumps'. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths Sampson Mordan along with clear hallmarks. Presented in excellent fully working condition with a deep shine. Measures 2.5" base diameter x 2" wide at the top x 1.25" high. Stock number 43298.
