A fine quality George V solid silver ladies cheroot case with engine turned blue enamel panels to the front, hallmarked Birmingham 1930. The oblong silver case with decorative leaf and bud design boarder running continuously around the edges of both sides. The front of the case decorated with a blue engine turned enamel finish, and the rear of the case with a polished finish. Release catch and flange to the front edge of the case to aid opening, the hinged case opening to reveal an immaculate gilt lined interior complete with original retaining straps. Bears the makers mark for highly regar...ded Birmingham silversmiths Henry Matthews along with clear hallmarks to both sections. Presented in immaculate unused condition.
