Silver and Enamel Trick Opening Vesta Case

A George VI period silver ' trick' opening vesta case with enamelled flag to the front, hallmarked Birmingham 1938. Hinged front with enamelled flag sitting proud of the surface set to the centre. Polished back and sides. Trick opening, the release catch being hidden within the hinge. Opens to reveal a an immaculate gilt lined interior. Bears the makers mark for Frank Henry Mannox. Presented in immaculate unused condition with a deep shine. Measures 2.25" long x 1.5" wide x 0.5" high. Stock number 37706.
