An Edwardian solid silver glove powderer with floral embossed decoration, hallmarked Birmingham 1909. Cylindrical canister to the base for holding the chalk powder, push fit top with embossed rose boarder, stem above for reaching into the fingers of the gloves, push fit cap to the end. The cap removing to reveal a pierced end for sprinkling the chalk. Presented in immaculate unused condition with clean gilt lined interior, hallmarks to all sections. Bears the makers mark for T. H. Hazelwood & Co. Measures 1.5" diameter x 3.75" high. Stock number 39846.
