George V Silver mug by Barker Bros
A fine heavy quality George V period solid silver mug with Arts & Crafts style decorative band to the rim, hallmarked Birmingham 1931. The silver mug with slightly flared sides and a broad decorative band to the top with stud design. Deep rim to the base forming the foot with stud work decoration to match the rim. Angular handle set to the side with curled design thumb rest to the top. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths Barker Brothers along with clear hallmarks. The mug weighs 5.5 troy oz and is presented in immaculate condition.
