A George VI solid silver tea strainer and bowl, hallmarked Birmingham 1944. Dished pierced strainer with flat fretted handles to either side to sit over a cup or rest on the bowl. The matching bowl with flared base forming the foot, dish above with rolled rim to hold the trainer and collect the residue. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths Thomas Ducrow & Sons along with clear hallmarks to all sections. Presented in immaculate unused condition. Measures 4.5" wide including handles x 3.75" diameter x 1.5" high. Stock number 40287.
