Edwardian Chester Silver Vesta and Stamp Case

An unusual Edwardian vesta case in solid Chester silver with internal stamp holder, hallmarked Chester 1905. The heavy quality polished solid silver case is oblong in form with rounded edges and corners for comfort in the pocket. Hanging loop to the top with striker to the base and a snap top lid with half round inset to the side. The lid opening to reveal a gilt lined interior with a section to the front to hold stamps; a half round cutout to the outside edge aids the removal of stamps.
