A George III period solid silver vinaigrette in the form of a leather purse, in mint condition and hallmarked Birmingham 1792. Formed in the style of leather purse with superb detail, the front with an overlay forming the purse clasp which aids the opening of the lid. The lid opening to reveal an immaculate gilt lined interior with pierced hinged internal cover for putting the scents behind. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths John Lilly along with clear hallmarks to all sections. Presented in immaculate condition. Measures 1" wide x 0.75" deep x 0.40" high.
