A superior quality Victorian dished brass cased skeletonised marine barometer with crescent thermometer, fully serviced and working c.1885. Polished dished brass case with hanging loop to the top and visible skeletonised movement set to the centre of the case. Porcelain dial sat around the outer edge with weather predictions and original mercury action crescent thermometer set to the bottom half of the dial. Glazed bevelled edge glass view window set in a polished brass bezel and reading marker to the centre of the window.
