The broad dished brass case with hanging loop to the top and matching brass bezel with glazed view window; reading marker knob to the centre. Skeletonised android movement visible to the centre of the case with engraved silvered scale set around the outer edge. Crescent mercury action thermometer reading Celsius to the lower half of the dial. Dial includes name (Dr. Wilhelm Michaelis), address (Berlin, FriedenstraÃ...Ÿe 19) and barometer number (2769). Superb quality and presented in good condition with a deep shine, fully serviced and working. Measures 5.25" diameter x 2.25" deep x 6" high including hanging loop. Stock number 40563.
