Small 1920' s Walnut Mantel Clock by Elliott
A small 1920's burr walnut mantle clock in the style of a George III bracket clock by Elliott of London, in full working order. The shallow proportioned clock with bell design top, brass carrying handle set above. Burr veneered surrounded to the arched top dial, and brass strung edges to either side. Moulded plinth to the base forming the foot with small brass bun feet below. Engraved brass dial with silvered chapter ring and brass spandrels to the corners. The dial bears the makers the retailers name Garrard & Co, Regent Street, London along with the makers name Elliott. 8 day En...glish made movement with platform escapement; the clock is wound and adjusted for time to the rear. Presented in excellent original condition with a rich colour and polish, and in full working order.
