Small Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany Banjo Barometer

A small Edwardian inlaid mahogany banjo barometer with silvered dial, fully serviced and working c.1900. The small proportioned case with figured timbers and decorative fruitwood inlays the top and base of the case. Aneroid movement sat behind an engraved silvered scale dial. The dial with central reading marker sat behind bevelled edge glass, which is mounted in a polished brass bezel. Matching scale to the thermometer with original mercury action thermometer. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 18.5" long x 6.5" wide x 2.5" deep. Stock number 41368.
