A George III period oak coffer bach with fielded panel front and single drawer c.1760. Substantially constructed with removeable single piece top, moulded edge forming a lip to hold in place, two sleepers to the underside to secure its position. Framed front with pegged joints, three fielded panels with broken arch design to the top edges. Single drawer to the base with ash linings and divisions. Moulded plinth with bracket feet below forming the base. The lid lifting off to reveal a clean interior. Superb original colour and patina with original turned knobs to the drawer.
