An unusually small proportioned George I period single drawer side table in original unaltered condition c.1720. The shallow proportioned top with moulded edge to all four sides; book matched veneers with crossbanded inner edge. Single long drawer below with unusual mock drawer formation with double moulded frame design and original decorative engraved brass fittings. Swept apron below with cock beaded edge, vase shaped legs sat to the corners and repeated to the base. Veneered base stretcher supporting the legs with small bun feet below. Superb colour and originality with unusual shal...low proportions, presented in excellent condition with a deep shine. Measures 29" wide x 12.5" deep x 28" high. Stock number TBC.
