Small George III Lincolnshire Cottage Clock

A small proportioned George III period oak cased painted dial cottage longcase clock by Monck of Stamford C.1775. Figured timber case with dental moulding to the cornice and brass mounted columns. Long door with arched top and original plinth to the foot. Original painted strawberry blossom dial with decorative bird to the centre. Date aperture below and original fretted steel hands. 30 hour bell striking movement original to the case, fully restored. Superb colour and original patina. Measures 6' 1" tall x 19.5" wide at hood x 9" maximum depth.
