A Small George III period flame mahogany painted dial 8 Day longcase clock by Charles Adamson of Montrose c.1790. The flame mahogany veneered small proportioned case with fruitwood stringing and swan neck pediment to the hood. Satinwood inlay and turned pillars to the hood. The 8 Day movement striking on a bell to the hour with pretty painted dial, subsidiary seconds count and date aperture. Original brass hands and hand painted mythical painted scene to the top arch.
