A Top Quality Mid Victorian polished oak banjo barometer.c.1875. Porcelain dial with visible works to the centre and brass bezel surround. Maker's name to the dial, R.Bailey of Bennet's Hill, Birmingham(w.1865-85). Matching porcelain thermometer above. Carved foliage decoration to the surround, top and base. Full working order. Superb mid oak colour and patina. Small proportions, measures 9" diameter x 2.75"deep x 26"long.
