A small proportioned George II period oak box settle with carved relief c.1730. Three panel back with carved top rail and diamond design carving to the panels. The box base with lifting seat and moulded arms to the sides, two panels to the front of the base, matching panelled sides. Sat on the original stiles. Original decorative forged iron hinges and excellent original mellow colour and patina. Small Proportions. Measures 43" wide x 18" deep x 42" high to top of the back 17" seat height.
