A superb small proportioned George II period oak chest of drawers with overlapped top in original condition c.1750. The overlapping top with moulded edge and matching moulding under the edge of the surface. Two over two drawers with cock beaded edges and superior quality brass fittings with fretted back plates. Sat on a moulded plinth with original bracket feet below; figured timbers throughout. Sold in excellent original unrestored condition with a rich colour and original patina.
