Small Regency Mahogany Glazed Bookcase
A small Regency period mahogany two door glazed bookcase with reeded pilasters, two base drawers and adjustable shelves to the interior c.1825. Figured mahogany top sat over two glazed doors, each having four glazed panes of glass with fine glazing bars inbetween. Flat reeded pilasters either side which return around the sides. Two full width base drawers each with cockbeaded edges and original circular brass ring drop fittings. Moulded edge to the base with original tappering feet sat to each corner. The glazed bookcase doors opening to reveal an adjustable shelf interior along with the or...iginal shelf. Unusually small in proportion, excellent quality and presented in superb original condition with a rich colour and patina.
