A superior quality Victorian carved oak banjo barometer with porcelain dial and skeletonised movement in mint condition c.1885. Solid carved figured oak case with crest to the top and complementing crest to the base. Porcelain dial with weather predictions sat around the outer edge and the makers name Coen & Co Bradford, skeletonised movement to the centre, which is sat in a patinated brass housing. Bevelled edge glass with central reading marker, mounted in a polished brass bezel. Matching scale to the thermometer with original mercury action thermometer sat to the upper half of the... case. Presented in superb original condition, fully serviced and working.
