Description

A small fine quality Victorian solid silver cream jug with embossed and engraved decoration, hallmarked Birmingham 1893. The bulbous centre decorated with a continuous band of embossed gadrooned decoration, complemented above and below by engraved and embossed scroll design borders. Deep band to the top with spout set to one side and scroll design handle opposite. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmith John Edward Wilmot along with clear hallmarks. Measures 1.75" diameter vessel x 2.75" wide including handle x 3.25" high. Stock number 41947.
