A collectable Edwardian 'Spratt's' large blue and white enamel promotional dog bowl c.1910. Flared sides for stability with dished inner so all the food can be easily accessed. Two oval cut out handles to the sides and rolled rim to the foot. White enamel finish with blue Spratt's lettering, trademark X along with Spratt's Patent Ltd mark. Presented in excellent original condition. Spratt's was a pet food company founded in 1860 and is noted as the world's first large scale manufacturer of dog biscuits; with a factory in Poplar, London.
