Square Sarouk Persian Pure Wool Rug
An unusual and possibly unique Sarouk Persian pure wool rug from the Mrkazi area of Persia in superb newly cleaned condition c.1930's. Superbly crafted with deep, close hand knotted pile. The floral design set in bands across the rug in soft gold, red, champagne and fawn tones giving a striking appearance. Narrow red and yellow flower head border to all four sides of the outer edge. Presented in excellent unworn stain free condition, newly cleaned ready for use. Measures 39" wide x 40.5" long. Stock number 42698.
