A Stunning Art Nouveau period mahogany inlaid music cabinet made by highly regarded cabinet maker, Shapland & Petter.c.1900. Fruitwood, satinwood and mother of pearl inlays to the double opening doors. Tudoric copper hinges and carry handles to the sides in the manner if Liberty's. Dividers to the interior for sheet music and the original ivory name panels to the sides. Inlaid gallery edge to the top. Tulip shaped frets to the under tier. Superb condition, colour and patina. Measures 22" x 14" x 48"high. * Shapland & Petter of Barnstaple, Devon were influential cabinet makers and designers of... the Art Nouveau and Arts & Crafts periods. Working 1844 -1909.
