Superb 10' 6" Persian Wool Runner Rug
A superb antique Persian pure wool 10' 6" hand knotted Heriz runner, in unusual tobacco brown and teal blue tones, newly cleaned ready for use c.1900. Seven medallions running the full length of the runner in alternating teal blues and champagne tones with an interlinked geometric floral design sat in between and all against a tobacco brown background. Framed with a triple border; the inner border with tones of gold and the outer two borders outlined in black with floral infill in tones to match the centre. Presented in superb used but unworn stain free condition, newly cleaned re...ady for use. Measures 10' 6" long x 35" wide. Stock number 42271.
