Superb 1920's Phillips 14" Gesso Library Globe
An outstanding Phillips 14" gesso terrestrial library globe on brass axis with superb turned walnut foot c.1920's. The 14" gesso globe in superb condition with good colour and clarity and bears the makers label for George Philips & Sons, Fleet Street, London. Mounted on a brass axis to allow the globe to be rotated and sat on a superb patinated broad turned walnut foot. Presented in excellent original condition with an original patina and no damage. Measures 15" wide including axis x 14" deep x 10.5" diameter at the base x 20" high. Stock number ...43209.
