Superb Brian Shields Oil on board
A superb signed oil on board by sought after artist Brain Shields 1951- 97. Painted in classic Sheilds style with a snowy winters scene, children playing on the ice in a park. Set with a heavy late afternoon wintery sky, typical of the artist. Bears the artist signature to the bottom left ' Braaq' along with his sisters name Ann. Set in a contemporary timber frame and presented in immaculate condition. Brian Sheilds born in Liverpool held many successful exhibitions and in particular from 1974 to 1977 in London, his paintings reminiscent of Lowry make Shields work highly sought after and he is... considered as one of the best artists of his generation.
