Superb Early Moorcroft Cornflower Vase
A superb early Moorcroft cornflower pattern vase in mint condition and signed William Moorcroft c.1914. The elegant shaped vase has wide shoulders, a narrow neck, and the sides of the vase are decorated with three panels of tube lined cornflowers. Ochre tones to the background with flowers painted in vibrant terracotta reds and dark blues. Signed William Moorcroft to the base and impressed with early Moorcroft Burslem impression indicating a date of manufacture of circa 1914. Superbly potted and presented in perfect unrestored condition.
