Superb Early Moorcroft Leaf and Berries Flambé Vase
An early Moorcroft leaf and berries design flambe glazed vase, signed William Moorcroft in mint condition c.1919. The squat vase with short narrow neck which is slightly flared at the rim. The sides of the vase decorated with a continuous band of tube lined leaves and berries which are painted in vibrant orange and red Autumn tones. The berries painted in dark purples set against a aubergine flambe glazeed background which fades in to tones of teal blue at the foot. Signed William Moorcroft to the base with Moorcroft factory impressions and paper lable. Presented in immaculate condition.
