A Superb Early Victorian burr walnut folding writing box.c.1840. Brass bound exterior, and matching burr veneers. Double folding interior with inset leather writing surface. Pen tray to the back and original concertina paper compartment to the back. Secret drawer inside. Mahogany lined. Original key. Top quality. Measures 19.75" x 11.25" x 9"high. Stock no.31613.
