A Superb George II period oak cased longcase clock made by well regarded maker, Thomas Lister of Halifax.c.1750. Brass and silvered dial with penny moon to the engraved centre. Strikes on a bell to the hour. Quality case with quarter columns to the sides. Turned columns to the caddy top hood. Superb mid oak colour and patina.Full working order. Stands 89"high. Thomas Lister Senior w.1740-79.
