A superb small proportioned antique George II period yew wood bureau c.1740. Book matched veneers and herringbone crossbanded exterior with moulded waist line, two over two drawer formation below. Sat on the original moulded plinth with period bracket feet. The fall front opening to reveal a superb fitted waterfall interior with concealed compartments behind the pull out centre false cupboard. Sliding surface well to the surface. Original brass ring pull handles with oval back plates, outstanding colour and original patina. Measures 32" wide x 39" high x 20" deep. Stock Number 36821.
