Superb George III Mahogany Toilet Mirror
A superb quality George III period figured mahogany toilet mirror with break front drawers to the base and wonderful original patina c.1760. Break front base with three drawers, each with original brass knobs, plus moulded base rail and small bracket feet to the base. Elegant tapering uprights with acorn finials to the top sat above the polished surface. The mirror sat in between the uprights and supported by axe drop fittings. Moulded frame to the mirror edge with fretted pediment to the top and complementing apron to the base. Superb original colour and patina throughout w...ith a good clear mirror glass. Measures 17" wide x 7.5" deep x 27" high to the top of the mirror pediment. Stock number 42947.
