Superb Large Arts and Crafts Brass Coal Scuttle
A large superb heavy quality planished brass coal scuttle in the Arts & Crafts style with forged iron fittings c.1900. The solid brass scuttle with planished finish and keyed seems, flared in form raising at the rim. Flared rim forming the foot and embossed club motif to the front in typical arts and crafts style. Forged iron swing handle with club design mounts and matching design handle to the lower side of the scuttle to aid use. Superbly made and presented in excellent dent free condition with replaced underside ready for use. Measures 14" wide x 13" deep maximum x 19" high to ...top of front lip x 26" high to top of handle when raised. Stock number 43151.
