A superb quality George III style solid mahogany pedestal desk with original leather writing surface c.1920. Original dark green patinated leather writing surface with tooled edges, mahogany boarder to the outer edge with moulded lip. Three top drawers below with three further graduated drawers to each pedestal. The drawers with cock beaded edges and original locks and solid mahogany linings. Polished sides, kneehole and rear so the desk can be freestanding if required. Superb quality constitution throughout with mahogany drawer runners, solid mahogany sides and dust boards. Presented in im...maculate condition with no cracks or damage and a rich polish. Separates into three pieces for ease of moving. Measures 53" wide x 34" deep x 29.5" high.
