Superb Moorcroft Cornflower Vase
A superb early Moorcroft cornflower pattern vase signed William Moorcroft in mint condition c.1914. The elegant shaped vase with wide shoulders and narrow neck, the sides of the vase decorated with three panels of tube lined cornflowers. Ochre tones to the background with flowers painted in vibrant terracotta reds and dark blues. Signed William Moorcroft to the base and impressed with early Moorcroft Burslem impression indicating a date of manufacture of circa 1914. Superbly potted and presented in perfect unrestored condition.
