A superb pair of C.19th cast bronze Marley horses with original patina c.1880. The originals sculpted in marble by Coustou for King Louis XV in 1739. This superior quality pair superbly cast in bronze each depicting a rearing horse with flying mane restrained by there groom. Mounted on the original sculpted bronze bases. Each with original rich patina with no damage or repairs. Very heavy quality. Each measures 19" high x 16" long x 8.5" deep. Stock number 37555.
