A superb large Persian Kashan pure wool rug in immaculate unworn newly cleaned condition c.1920's. Hand woven with a high knot density, the background in a soft pale tone with a interlocking floral design and small medallion to the centre. The floral decoration in navy, teal blues, golds and champagne creams. Broad triple border framing the centre in matching tones. A high quality rug with thick pile typical of premium quality Kashan rugs, presented in superb unworn stain free and newly cleaned condition. Measures 10' 6" long x 7" wide. Stock number 42840.
